AN ILL-SPENT YOUTH
PHOTOGRAPHIC SERIES, 2025
An Ill-Spent Youth is a black-and-white photographic series documenting the queer nightlife scene in Brooklyn over the course of a single evening at a dive bar. The project captures intimate moments of fashion, friendship, and nightlife rituals, from billiards to dancing, revealing the atmosphere of a tight-knit community and the fleeting energy of late-night gathering spaces.
“A proficiency at billiards is a sign of a ill-spent youth”
